Yamaha Vino 125 Scooter Sat For Years! Let's Get It Running Again! Carburetor Cleaning? Yeah!
This low mileage Yamaha Vino 125 scooter was sitting in a garage after being ridden very little. Sitting unused is almost as bad for engines as abusing them every day, so let's get this thing going and put it to use!

    Never did transmission fluid myself. Used to do my own oil changes all the time, until I had a compromised container break and spill oil everywhere. I figured I wasn't saving too much on oil changes and if I take my car into the dealer they will wash it for "free" since I bought the car there, so I figure that's about a $20 savings compared to doing a car wash around here so the spread gets really thin. I've been fortunate to have a pretty honest Honda dealer here so I give them more service related business. Plus they usually have free donuts, coffee, and snacks so I take more than my fair share which reduces the cost spread lol. These Honda CR-vs are pretty amazing vehicles though. I bought my 2016 model in 2018 with 9k miles on it, it now has 53k miles and my average cost including one set of new tires has to be around $100 a year for inspections and small stuff. I still have yet to change the brake pads which just blows my mind.

    • @TomsTinkeringandAdventures
      @TomsTinkeringandAdventures 25 днів тому

      I have not done brakes on ours either, think it’s at 70k miles? Great vehicle so far. I should see what my dealer charges for this service. Sometimes you’re right, if you have a coupon the basic service is reasonable.

      Ok I figured it out there was a pin by the loading gate I had to remove and then it slid out like a normal bolt action

    The thing I hate about Go Pro is the bubble effect they give, I hate it. The other thing, it sometimes doesn't record when it's supposed to and the sound sometimes does not capture when it's supposed to. Not a big fan of Go Pro so it would be nice to find something better. Glad to see some other camera companies that are good coming out. That camera might not be high quality enough to cut the mustard.

      GoPro definitely has their own set of issues. I am going to keep messing with the Innov to see if I can get better results. I like the battery life for sure.
